Today morning, I came across two quotes – The first quote was by ~Napoleon Bonaparte, Emperor of France and conqueror of much of Europe~ which was as follows: I have never known six happy days in my life.
The other quote was by – Helen Keller, lecturer and writer who was blind and deaf from the age of 19 months; Helen Keller graduated from college and went on to champion the cause of blind and deaf people – which was as follows: I have found life so beautiful.
Most would assume that an emperor would have cause to be happy constantly and a blind and deaf person would have cause to be miserable constantly. But that is not the case because what ultimately counts in life is how we perceive life and how we react to its challenges. The life of Helen Keller is a real eye opener for all of us. Let us count our blessings and be in gratitude of what life offers and make the best of all and every moment of our lives. It’s been rightly said, Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take but by the moments that take our breath away. – Hilary Cooper
